In Yosemite and Mavericks I was always able to specify the number of days that the calendar would display in week view so that I could see the next several weeks on one (very large) screen. I would normally keep it at 21, and occasionally switch to 24 day view. Details in this thread how it used to be done:

Unfortunately it appears that this trick no longer works in 10.11. Any suggestions how to get my 21-day view back?

Thanks!

I am able to do that by opening ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iCal.plist with Xcode and changing "n days of week" to the desired number.

It is persistent when quitting and reopening Calendar but I don't know if it'll stop working somehow or if the change can cause any issues on the Mac.
