The date on the calendar icon is always a day off... not sure why. I can fix it by going in and setting time zone to manual, then automatic, then re-springing, but that's quite annoying to do every day. Ideas?

When you set it to manual, choose your time zone place and then go into settings -> privacy -> location services -> system services (at the bottom)

And then turn off setting time zone

Hope that'll fix it. You might need to respring and wait until tomorrow to see if it fixes the problem

Could you have made a more cryptic response?

Yes, I could have. What is so cryptic about me telling you that it probably is a tweak causing your issue? Am I a magician to know what you have installed. Grab your tweaks and see if anyone has had similar issues on google.

are you using winterboard? maybe a theme set for the wrong time zone? otherwise, try disabling (or uninstalling) tweaks one-at-a time, see what's causing the problem.

Cryptic is saying "it's a tweak" ... CLEARLY it's not an issue with the stock OS install, so that short comment was like saying it's wet out when it's raining, and provided absolutely nothing productive to assist.

Back on topic, I have the exact same setup on my iPhone and iPad Mini, and 100% same tweaks installed, and the issue only persists on the iPhone. Hmmmm.

I tried the turning off auto date and will see if it updates correctly tomorrow.

I think it is a known issue. Respring / Reboot fixes it but that's not a solution.

Hi all,

I had this same problem last few months with my iOS 5x on iPhone 4S - but ever since I updated to iOS 6 (current iOS 6.1.2) I don't have this issue any more! :)

It really bugged me but I was never ever able to trace it down... some subtle tweak conflict apparently blocked the icon date update... I even disabled tweaks one by one but nothing was definitive...
