Hi guys, I needed to check a calendar entry for June 2019, however, for some reason, on iOS 14 you cannot go further back than 10th July 2019. I've checked my Calendar settings and the options to Sync All has been set.

Is anyone else having this issue?

huh, here too; july 9, 2019. this is if i scroll back, day-by-day. if i jump to an earlier year, & open a date, i see the 2020 entries for that date (grayed out)... altho even that seems a bit erratic. will report in feedback assistant.

wonder why s2mike's is working (my sync'd mac calendar is fine, so the cloud must be... and it's just ios)...

I've got my calendar set up with Google Calendar, i can see things prior to this date with no issues in different views.

Thank you for the replies guys. As @fisherking said, looks like it might be an icloud thing.

Try jumping back to a date before July 9 2019 as that also doesn't work for me.

I've also reported this so the more people who try and report the better.

Nothing but iCloud on my 11 pro max and have no issues going back beyond that date, I even went to 2016 with no problems. Events still showed up. Running current iOS 14b6

wonder what the difference is; for instance, are you also sharing with a mac, or another device? (mine is mac & iphone). would be great if we could figure out the common denominator (for those of us who have the issue)

anyway, i reported it (with cool screenshots) in feedback assistant.

I have my iCloud setup with iPhone, MacBook Pro and an iMac. I have my iMac running Big Sur as well. Not sure why yours is being weird, hopefully it will work itself out.

since it's not just me, seems it's something apple has to fix. anyway, it's beta time, so will be patient (& i only found out about it because of the OP, i never look back)

Thanks guys. As fisherking said, this is a Beta so will wait it out.

I can scroll back as far as I like (edit: in the month or year view, not the list view which stops at June 2019). If I'm in the view where it shows the month at the top and any events (for the date I click on) underneath then that works fine.

However, if I'm in the view that just shows a vertical scrollable month list and click on a date (which should open up a screen showing a list of events starting from that day) it does open a list but jumps to 2019.

So I assume it's a bug with the calendar app not iCloud, as the events are there (and a third party calendar app isn't affected at all).

yeah the calendar app has quite a few bugs this time. If I scroll to the next month in month view it does not update the label of the month for instance I get August September September. However it’s already been marked as more than 10 and potential fix identified in the feedback app

I have no problems with the calendar and earlier date, and share calendar over iCloud with Macs on Big Sur and also Catalina, I also have a old iPad on ios9.

Just for fun using the Year view on my iPad Pro (13.7), I can scroll back into the 1300s, pick a date and even add an event. Now there's a notification I'll never see. 😆 It will likely go back earlier than that, but my coffee's getting cold.
