Hi, I recently migrated my Domain/Mail/Contacts/Calendar etc from Google GSuite to iCloud+ (due to the discontinuation of GSuite's free tier).

One feature I relied upon was adding "other" dates to my contacts for things such as Wedding Anniversary, Kid's Birthdays etc. On Google, these would be added to my calendar exactly like the contacts Birthday field. Since the migration I no longer see these "other" dates, and I can't seem to find a way to generate them... Google and searching here doesn't bring up anything of particular relevance except some very old threads, or third-party calendar apps.

Am I missing something, or is this just not a "thing" on the iCloud PIM suite??

You can add other dates, on icloud.com if you look at the contact, select edit scroll to the bottom and select Add Field, you can then select Date. You can't change the field name on icloud.com but you can on iPad/iPhone.

Indeed, but will they be added to the Calendar?

I'm using Google both for contacts and calendar. I have noticed that some events (such as anniversary) do not appear in the Google calendar, but they do appear in the Google calendar widget, which leads me to the conclusion that Google calendar has a bug on iOS. They also do not appear on iOS Calendar, but I guess that is to be expected.

Only thing that will show up in Apple's Calendar apps will be birthdays. Some 3rd party calendar apps will show other fields (eg. Fantastical has an Anniversaries calendar, if you allow access to Contacts).

Google... could be a bug, or working as designed. The Google iOS apps are a bit of a mess, imo, re: what you can/can't do with them. And even when trying to access services via Chrome on iOS.

And even with Google calendar, other dates fall under the birthday calendar. Their take on the vCard standard (birthday and anniversary are only true date fields and are optional; anniversary came along with latest standard version).
