Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A334 Safari/7534.48.3)

So even if I set calendar to show "5 items" in notification center, does it only show me the first 5 items occurring today or the following day?

Seems like an odd limitation to me...

Well, now I've found that none of my calendar items show up in the notification center, regardless of if they're happening today, tomorrow, or next week.

I've turned notifications off and then back on, tried creating a few dummy events...nothing.

I want it to show the current day's events only. I don't want it to show tomorrow's events.

I don't think you can right now (come on iOS 5.1). The minor features apple overlooks are some features that are needed. At 12:00am it will show all the days events. :)

Anyways apple should let you customize if you have work or home events in the notification center also.
