As the title to this post reads, calendar invitations that are sent to my iCloud e-mail address are not appearing either on my iPhone (in the Calendar app) or my MacBook Air (in the Calendar app) noting that my iCloud e-mail address is the only e-mail address that is setup on my calendar.

I have searched the internet to try to fix this but have not found the solution. The only suggestion that I have found -- see the attachedfile / image -- is to set the INVITATIONS settings to a specific e-mail address (note: I have purposely blanked out the first part of my e-mail address) but that has not worked.

I should also add that neither setting in the INVITATIONS section fixes this problem (i.e. both settings result in calendar invitations not appearing).

I would greatly appreciate any and all help in resolving this.

Thanks in advance.

Please, does anyone have any ideas or thoughts on how to solve this? Thx!

As no solution has been provided to date (I am still hopeful) I decided to call Apple Support.

Additional testing revealed that the issue appears to be with Outlook in that when accepting a Calendar Invitation in Outlook -- Outlook, unlike iOs or macOS calendar -- does not include / provide the intermediate step of asking which iCloud calendar to enter the event in. The Apple Support person kicked this issue to to engineering to determine whether it is an Apple issue or a Microsoft / Outlook issue. More to come.

A workaround for the time being is to accept all invitation that need to go into an iCloud calendar in either iOS or macOS calendar.
