Calendar Invite Notifications

I can't understand why I am not getting invitee notifications on my iPhone yet they show up on my Macbook pro. I setup an event on my Mac or iPhone iCloud calendar and invite someone. They respond and I get the Accepted indication inside the calendar when look at the event but no notification or badge on the iPhone, only on the mac.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply. I can't tell when this started as I just started doing invites on Jan 1st this year. What's even stranger is if they choose Decline I get a notification in iOS (lock screen and badge). Guess this is separate setting in Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Hope Apple will respond - send them a bug report (http://apple.com/feedback)
