Calendar invites to mobileme???

I sent an invite from my outlook based email account to my mobile me account hoping I could accept it and it would show on my mobile me calendar, however that does not seem to be supported. a .ics file shows up in the mobile me email but I can't open or do anything with it on my ipod touch. Anybody know anyway to get this to work? and NO I can't sync my outlook computer with Mobile me for work restriction reasons.

It doesn't work for me either. I was really hoping that using the new 2.0 s/w and mobileme I'd be able to accept meeting invites from the phone.

It didn't work, I just got the attachment but it works with my exchange account, which I have setup on my iphone for work.
