Hey all,

If I ask Siri to create a calendar event, such as "Create and event tomorrow at 12, lunch with mom"... it'll automatically send an invite to my mothers phone which prompts a phone conversation about how she's not being hacked, haha. Is there anyway I can turn off these automatic invite settings?

Thanks!

It may just be a matter of how you say things. "Mom" is known to Siri, so it's sending an invitation to the other known person in the event - in general, I'd consider it a smart thing for Siri to do. Try using a different term, like "Mother" (something that doesn't appear in her contact) and see what happens.
