I disabled the "Calendar sync" a couple of days ago in Mobileme to make some changes to the calendars, ie. deleting calendars, adding new ones etc.

After that was done, when I go back to System Preferences > MobileMe > Sync, the Calendar is no longer listed as an option for synching!!

Everything else is there such as Bookmarks, Contacts, Mail, Preferences etc but Calendar is not even available as an option!

I tried going to "Reset Sync data" but also Calendar is not listed as an option! Has anyone else encountered this?

Running Lion 10.7.2.

Wow, I just opened my MM sync prers, saw iCal there, then the screen automatically refreshed and iCal was gone. Hmmm, have to go test and see if it is still syncing maybe direct from iCal as a native feature??

*edited* just tested, added an event on my iPhone, synced to my MBP iCal, deleted from iCal on the MBP, and it was removed from my iPhone, so sync still works.

Clearly not... Not for quit a while...

I'm telling you it WAS part of the sync preferences in Feb and WAS there just yesterday I saw it with my own eyes, and then the sync pref screen refreshed and it was removed. So there are two people here saying clearly it WAS there.

Calendar is now in the Mail, Contacts and Calendars option (but this just adds the server calendar into iCal)

Not sure why some have still being seeing it and then it vanished, but it has been irrelevant since the new MM calendar came out

iCal syncs directly with it via CalDAV, it no longer uses the sync services, the calendar is directly on the server now, it is not stored locally and then synced up

Im not saying you didn't see it on your Mac. I support 28 Macs... It has been gone in Lion (and I previewed Lion for months before it's release) and in fact since the new iCal. Let's just agree to disagree OK?

calendar sync problem

I noticed today that my iPhone hadn't been syncing ical from the computer (i.e. events on the computer are newer and aren't seen on iPhone). this was today, so I went into MobileMe preferences and had the experience of seeing the ical pref disappear as I watched. but that is really no concern.
my main concern is that ical isn't syncing with my phone.

cheers

If you go to iCal->Preferences->General is there a check box at the bottom of the window that says "Synchronize iCal with other computers and devices using MobileMe"?
