Calendar & multiple subscribed holidays?

Is there a reason why events in my MacBooks Calendar app are duplicated?

I seem to be subscribed to multiple Holiday calendars, and its annoying me. Take the 25th May in my Calendar for example, the national holiday appears three times...

When in Monthly view, the number of subscribed holiday entries on 25th May obscures viewing 4 x further events in that day...

Do I need to unsubscribe to some Holiday Calendars? If so, how?

Click the Calendars button (top left of Calendar window) or, Click View in the menu bar and select Show Calendar List. On the left you can delete different calendars you are subscribed to.

The duplicates you should be able to right click on and select Delete.
