Calendar notification on lockscreen

My notification shows my calendar entries for tomorrow, but my lockscreen doesn't. The option is on in settings. Any idea why?

Edit: just found out the "show in lockscreen" option is for reminders and invites.

Only new notifications that are received while the phone has been locked will show up in the lock screen.
