I am having a problem with Mobile Me. I used to sync my iPhone with my Entourage calendar through iTunes, however, I signed up for a Mobile Me trial the other day, and tried to sync it into the "cloud" and back to the iPhone. However, all of my all-day events show up on the iPhone on the actual day, and the following day. This doesn't happen anywhere else, Entourage, iCal, and the online calendar, all show the events correctly. I have tried deleting my calendar from MobileMe, iCal and the phone, to no avail. I have even set the time zones correctly in all the applications/iPhone, all now set to central time. None of this helps.

I had to go back to cable syncing last night.

Any suggestions?

Same issue with ipod Touch

When I create an all-day event in Entourage, it appears on my ipod Touch on two successive days. For some reason (a bug, I'm guessing) the Touch records it as extending into the next day. So Christmas is December 25 and 26, for example.

Both iCal and MobileMe web calendar shows it correctly on only one day. It's not a double syncing problem. When I go in and edit the event on my Touch, changing the end date to the same as the start date, it fixes it on my Touch and doesn't affect my iCal or my webapp. Creating an all-day event in iCal or on the webapp does not cause this same problem.

The biggest headaches for me are birthdays and holidays. Entourage only syncs with one calendar in iCal (the Entourage calendar) so subscribing to a holiday calendar in iCal doesn't work. Entourage lets you download holidays into your Calendar, and creates a category for them. iCal doesn't sync the category, of course, but the holidays do sync. My Touch syncs those holidays, which are all-day events, and records them on two days each. You have to go through a whole year of holidays to manually fix them, and then if you end up re-registering your Touch or computer, you have to do that again.

It's one of the prices I have to pay to continue to use Entourage. I like the way it works, including the project center which I use quite a bit. And I like a single calendar with categories instead of individual calendars like iCal uses. I doubt anyone, Apple or Microsoft, will be motivated to fix this issue.

manual sync through itunes works, mm causes problem

Tried it both ways, and MobileMe continues to sync all-day events across two days. When synced through itunes, problem doesn't occur.
