I find the defualt Calendar app for my iPhone 4 is quite limiting, because I cannot set reminders more than 2 days in advance.
Ideally, I would like to use it for birthdays and other events, where I would like up to 14 days notice.
I believe that I can get this functionality if I sync the application with another calendar, e.g. a Hotmail or Gmail calendar, Outlook, or MobileMe, however, I don't want to do this.
Is there an alternative or is there a 3rd party application which could sync with my iPhone calendar and provide this feature?
Even a stand-alone app would be great, but I haven't found a good one yet.
