Calendar Sync Problem with iOS4.2

Hi,

since I upgraded to the new MM calendar last night, both my iPhone4 and my iPad (both on 4.2b3) won't sync anymore.
Both show empty calendars, and even the selection list is empty now (the only entry shown is "All")
I cannot even enter a new appointment (it won't show anywhere).

I tried resetting both devices, switched calendar sync off and on again, nothing worked.

Has anyone here experienced the same problem?

My ipad is on 4.2b3 but my iphone 4 on 4.1 and MobileMe works with no issues, even after the calendar update.

Interesting.
Did you set up a separate CalDAV account (as described here) on the iPad or does it work for you with the standard MM settings?

Did you restore from backup or did you install 4.2 as a new device?

EDIT: Adding a CalDAV account does fix the problem. But 4.2 should not require this, so I guess it's simply a problem with the beta making it behave like 3.x here. Same thing affects the iPhone4 equally. I'll log it with Apple.
