I've started changed my work address

I've updated this in the "My Info" contact

If I ask Siri for directions to work, he directs me to my new place of work.

If however I put a new event in my calendar, and the "travel time" is to be from "work" it uses the old address.

Any ideas?

You should check frequent locations in your settings (I think Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services > Frequent Locations) to see if the old location might still be saved there and perhaps might be involved in all of this.

I don't think this has anything to do with frequent locations.

I could visit a place more frequently than work, it would be fairly ridiculous of my phone to assume that somewhere I visited often is "work"

I'm not deleting my frequent locations for the sake of this hunch. Please only post if you have actual knowledge of the subject, not general musings with no support for why they may be a solution.

If you go to a location more than just a handful of times it will add it to your frequents. the purpose of Frequent Locations is to "allow your iPhone to learn places you frequently visit in order to provide use location-related information." Deleting them will do nothing except you will not see the "it will take you X time to get to X" in Notification Center. There is no reason to to have it turned on unless you like you iPhone telling you travel times to that location.

I think you may have your old work still keyed in somewhere on the iPhone, maybe you have it in contacts or something. I would check.

I do not have my old work address stored anywhere on my phone, I have searched my phone and connected MacBook and there is no instance of this address anywhere, not even on any previous colleagues.

As I said, Siri and Maps know my new place of work. For some reason though Calendar hasn't updated.
