Calendar which sends Email notifications?

So my friend wants to get an iphone for work, but he is forced to use Lotus Notes there and his company does not allow access to it via apps.

He wants to know if there are any calendar apps that will email him new entries. Im pretty sure Apple's native calendar doesn't email.

Any ideas? Thanks.....

Apple's iCal sends email notifications, I use the function frequently.

Check out 2Do for iPhone. I love it and it allows all kinds of notifications, including email. It's the best productivity app I've used, and I've purchased several. I'm finally satisfied. Turn it sideways to view the calendar. It's slick.
