Calendar Widget: No events

After doing some research, I found it is a feature, not a bug.
At least we have this "feature" already for a long time. Some widgets from the store overcome this.

But in the previous betas, it would show all day events. Not sure what is going on.
I believe there are a couple of calendar widgets in iOS 10 now, and one of them is supposed to show all day events (or at least used to in earlier betas).After doing some research, I found it is a feature, not a bug.

The normal Calendar widget will show all day events on the day of. The Up Next calendar widget will show events but something like 2+ weeks out (not 100% sure the time threshold it uses.)
Yeah....mine is not doing that anymore. Hopefully it's fixed in the GM. I prefer the default calendar app.
Apple does include all day events in the calendar widget. It just doesn't seem to work for everyone. A reboot, reset settings are things to try and troubleshoot the issue. Mine has shown all day events just fine in every single iOS 10 beta build (dev 1-8)
Indeed there are a few great third party widgets (see also the widget topic > search for 'Calendar' to see all) which can show all day events on any point in time. It's so odd that this isn't supported in Apple's own widget.
I'm using this third party widget 'Events Widget' (free) which has a lot of nice little feature with even the option to add open your favorite calendar app (in my case Week Calendar) to add a new appointment or open the appointment within that app after you press on it in the widget. Another great widget is Agenda: Widget+ (0.99 dollar). The widget+ only supports the distance for Apple's own calendars, not for appointments made with third party apps like the Week Calendar app (which uses my Google Calendar) or when I made an appointement via the website of Google Calendar.
While all of that is correct about third party widgets, what I meant by that reply is that in iOS 10 there are now a couple of built-in widgets related to the Apple stock Calendar app.
I'm sorry I forgot this was a iOS10 topic. I'm not even sure if the mentioned widgets would be working in iOS10. I'm using these in iOS9.x
If you enable the "List view" rather than the Calendar view in the calendar app, the Calendar widget will show all-day events. But it will be in list view as well.
Not sure if that's required at all. Mine is and has always been in calendar view and still showed All Day events in the widget for the entire time this whole summer in beta.
