I use a Mac, OS X 10.4.10, MacBook Pro.

All of my calendars are stored in iCal.

When I go to update my iPhone (or even my iPod), the calendars do not show up in the ITUNES SYNC SCREEN. However, very old calendars do (from around 6 months).

On my iPod, I was able to manually export the calendars, but cannot figure this out with the phone.

Why do my calendars not sync, and how do I fix this??

do you two mean the main list of different things to sync such as music podcasts etc in iTunes or are you saying something else does not appear?

Under the Info tab, it gives options of what to sync. When I go to Calendars, I have the option to select all calendars or only some.

Under that, all of my calendars do not show. Only ones from around January do.
