I do mostly web design, and some print. For a while I have been using the Adobe RGB color profile on my 15.4" MBP with LED screen. It doesn't look bad, but I'm not convinced the colors are entirely accurate.

Has anyone else calibrated one of these screens? I would be interested in what kind of color profiles people use.

You ought to buy the Spyder2Express colorimeter (US$80). It'll work on glossy displays, but can only be used for one display per computer. I thought I was pretty good at software calibration from the preferences panel, but when I bought my Spyder I realized I was way off. It's not just colors, it's also brightness and contrast, especially if you need to make prints.
