Had my Powerbook a month and not sure if I've callibrated the battery properly. Coconutbattery is showing 'original capacity: N/A' So I'm gonna try and get this right - when I drain the battery down and it goes into sleep - do I plug in the charger and then wake it up and shut it down, or do I just leave it in sleep? Then do I need to drain it right down again?

When I callibrated in the first week, I plugged in to the charger and the woke the machine up and shut it down before carrying out the full charge - a mistake I presume!

Sorry about the dumb question, but I have carried out a search and cannot find a definitive answer to this. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

cheers mad jew. So I'm going to surf this forum till my battery drains and then leave it in sleep mode while it recharges - afterall it says nothing about waking it up and shutting down. Top battery performance here I come!!!!

You can do what you want with it as it discharges and charges. Theoretically, the only downtime you should get is the second it takes when it falls asleep from no power before you plug it back in again. :)
