Ever been like me and clicked on a wrong contact? Well, I did that just now. Usually, there's a few seconds delay between the "End Call" appearing and the call actually ringing.

Now, as soon as the "End Call" appears, it is already ringing! So I ended up one-ringing someone I really didn't want to ring, they called back asking what was going on.. great..

Hmm... my "End Call" button comes up FASTER than ever before. Tried it and have plenty of time to stop it.

Try a hard reset.

Nope..

As soon as the "End Call" bit appears, it is ringing. The "End Call" window appears relatively quickly, but the call is already ringing so there's no way to hang up.

Either your network is faster than AT&T where I am, or your phone is slower.

When I select a name to dial, I can almost instantly press "End Call".

Yes, but as soon as "End Call" appears, the call is already ringing. That's the problem.. if I press the wrong contact I can't hangup quick enough without it ringing.

The Sleep/Wake button should end a call. Try pressing that to see if it is able to end the call before it starts ringing.

I only noticed it cause I wanted to turn the screen off while on a phone call so buttons don't get pressed. I was talking to my wife and ended the call . Luckily she understood my error and wasn't mad at me...
