Call for Logo Design

I know some of you are masters at designing graphics and logos. So I was wondering if anyone would be interested in throwing some together for me to possibly use on my website. I thought this would be a good place to ask because I know alot of people just like making up fake ones for fun.

My website is called localmusicpost.com and I would like the logo to incorporate the site name and some kind of awsome logo having to do with music or people rockin(im so lame).

I cant wait to see some of the design creativity that you guys have. Thanks alot.

Just so you know, this kind of "call for design" is frowned upon in the graphic design world. While there are some industries, for example, architeture, where studios and designers present work before getting paid, in the design field it is generally not considered acceptable for a company or individual to call out for a design like you have.

Really, it makes you look cheap. Especially with the way you worded your post in reference to people just throwing something together because they like to do stuff like that.

Oh, and there is that one thing, ya know?...you get what you pay for.

I think there are a lot of very creative and helpful people on this forum who enjoy trying to create something as a challenge. It's fun and there's no stress... gives them a place to throw out ideas and joke around.

His site looks like a hobby, something fun... and I doubt he has a lot of money to pay for a professional design. As such, this forum is a great place to get something usable that people don't mind donating.

Good times all around... accept for folks who take themselves way too seriously.
