Call-Forwarding + extensions = fail? (Help, please)

I want to be able to forward my calls to my work number, which has an extension. When I enter the number, xxx-xxxx then the pause (,) and the extension, 5802 the number won't save when I back out. Anyone had phone extensions work?

i like to know as well, Outlook saves it as 123-456-7890 x 123 but when i dial that it says can not complete call (this is the way my BB accepts an extension and prompts if it should dial that extension once the call is connected)
