Call my crazy, but I swear my speaker volume seems weaker

As I was setting up my alarms on iOS 10, I found my usual tone and it sounded like the volume was cut by at least 1/4 of what I'm used to.

So I played a few songs, and again it seems as if the volume emitting the device from iOS 10 is weaker. I don't know if Apple has restricted output somehow (i don't have soundcheck or anything on and my EQ is set to Acoustic, as usual) or if my speaker is going bad.

Sound from the headphone jack is normal as far as I can tell. Anyone else notice this?

Call me paranoid but It does seems like the sound is two squares lower than I used to hear.

I rarely put my phone speakers at max volume so its not something I care.



Normally I only used the ringtone from 1 to 2 (squares). Maybe now there is more options between? Maybe it was lowered to avoid screwing the speakers long-term? Whatever. (drops the mic)

I was on a call using speaker and even at full volume I could barely hear it. Thought it was just me.

There is absolutely no change . It may sound like it cause typing sound is a bit more muffled , On my iPhone 6s Music sounds as loud as ios 9 both on bluetooth speaker and the phone speaker

I could definitely tell a difference when my alarm went off today. It's definitely 1-2 squares lower than it used to be.
