Call of duty 2 poor perfomance

Hi all

Im having a problem with my mac, when running call of duty 2.
I just bought the game, cause i´ve seen it running on other imac, and it was just running great.

Im a proud owner of a 3.06 Ghz 24` Imac, with 4 Ghz RAM, and a Geforce 8800Gs 512 MB. I´ve tried all diferent configurations on the game, but i cant seem to run it smoothly, Its all laggy, its poor perfomance its gettin me so frustated..
My imac its up to date, the game is patched, but its still crappy

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but the 8800 and COD2 don't play nice and there's no fix from either ASPYR or Apple. The 8800 drivers in OS X are not as matured as the ATI, the future may hold some hope but I wouldn't bet on it for COD2.
