I do own both PC and MAC version of this game(which cost me about 90 bucks each, at the time) after I switch myself to MAC user. Seeing people still playing this, it's kinda temp me to play this again too.

Should I just grab it on MAS? It will be the third time I spent my money on this little old game. I know, it's only 20 bucks and it's still the best modern military FPS on MAC today.

If you already own the shelf Mac version of the game, why do you wish to buy it again on the MAS?

well, the reason I post here is looking for a reason to stop me from buying MAS version.:D

because it's annoying to always bring a game DVD with me if I want to play single player mode on the go, same goes with ETQW. Also, I'm not sure if aspyr will bring any new fix/updates in MAS version? (probably not, cus its too old)

I guess the best solution is to find crack for this game:cool:

How did you pay $90 for CoD4??
I can't recall the exact price but when the PC version first came out, it was really expensive at the time. for the mac, i'm pretty sure it was around that price. well, I brought it in Australia but I heard it was imported (not too sure because the box is at my home).

The PC version was 49.99 here in Canada when it was new I believe.
Instead of cracking the game, what if you just mount an iso? Not sure how the copy protection works on OSX.

iso could be worth a try, but it's gonna be one huge disc image.
I'm going to try it as soon as I got home tomorrow.
