Call of Duty and Leopard Compatability

I have seen a couple of reports around stating that people have issues running Call of Duty 2 under Leopard, namely punkbuster issues and poor performance. Could those here who play CoD2 under leopard please post here whether or not they are having issues? I would like to know before upgrading, as CoD2 is probably the only game I play regularly.

chris, happy new year!

i got a new 2.2 black macbook for xmas with 2GB ram and the leopard operating system. call of duty 2 runs really smoothly. my settings are on medium and resolution 800x600. i think the one and only problem i find is when smoke goes off everywhere the frame rate drops but thats it.

anything else i can help with?

I have had some minor problems with COD UO under leopard. Most of it has to do with the program crashing from time to time. I did a clean install of COD and things seem to be working better.

I've been playing Call of Duty on Leopard without any problems.

upgraded to leopard this morning... all good BUT, having issues with CoD2.
It seems very buggy. Froze twice, even though all i was doing was refreshing MP lists and setting graphics preferences. I'm talking system wide crashes too, can't force quit or anything, can only hold power button and restart :-(
Really puts a dampener on my Leopard celebrations...
Any help or advice would be appreciated

UPDATE: CoD2 is now the only source of problems. After playing for a few minutes, I quit out and try to open another app. No luck. All apps launched after playing just bounce endlessly in the dock. ARGH! I just wanna play a game!

Problem Solved

Call of Duty 2 is now flawless... in fact a little faster than tiger...
Make sure to allow ALL incoming connections for it in apple's firewall
(Security->Firewall)

Game on!

A little late, but Call of Duty 2 runs great on my 2.2GHz MacBook Pro, 4GB RAM, 7200rpm HDD, 128MB 8600m GT running Mac OS X 10.5.1.

COD2 Graphics Problems in Leopard

Since I installed Leopard, COD2 graphics has been really bad. I'm getting lots of artifacts, entire portions of the map going black and these weird triangular "shards" across the screen. When all that isn't happening, I get a lot of flickering during game play. I get occasional system crashes too and that never happened under Tiger.

I have an ATI X1900XT card installed. The graphics update didn't do anything to help. Has anyone else experienced this? Anybody find a solution??

A little slow on this thread, but has any Leopard users noticed slower performance for another game - Medal Of Honor Allied Assault ?
Just wondering, because i've reinstalled the game and i don't remember these poor frame rates. It's playable, but nothing compared to other games.

(hmm gotta google to see if there any decent tweaks!)
