I have one of the older iphones Model A1203 to be exact. I am having a hard time hearing the people that I am talking to on the phone. I used the button on the top left side of the bar to turn the volume all the way up but the voices are still pretty hard to hear. Is there anywhere else I can go, maybe in setting, to increase the volume of voices so I can hear them? Thanks.

If you're phone is jailbroken, in Cydia there is a tweak called "VolumeBoost". Never used it myself, but from what I have heard, it works well. Might as well take it back to Apple before Jailbreaking as it will void your warranty.

Is your iPod control volume setting all the way up?

Volume boost is SO plecebo! I have it and I dont notice anything. I think someone with a decibel meter needs to check if volume boost truely works

OP, this is half the reason I now have a 3G iPhone. The other half of the reason was the ringer volume. Both are much better in the 3G. I sold my first generation iPhone for more than the price of the 3G, so that was easy. It does cost more for service. But I got tired of straining to hear voices on the other end of calls and of missing calls because I didn't hear the ringer. I'm very happy with both now.
