Hi all, I used to use the app CallApp on my android machine, and I am looking for a similar app on iPhone.
What this app does is identifying phone numbers which are not in your phonebook, by using phonebooks of other users.

This way you automatically see the name from who's calling you when the number is not in your phonebook.

I have installed and tried several options from the App store, but none have worked so far.

Does anyone use an app that works? Many thanks!!

I think the TrueCaller app is what you’re looking for, as far as the “crowdsourced” contact sharing.

At least in the US, there are carrier specific apps that also offer this functionality, such as AT&T Active Armor or the Verizon Call Filter app for a small subscription. These pull from the Caller ID database and don’t require sharing your phone book.
