How is 10.2 treating you in terms of battery life? I remember when 10 first came out I could watch my battery die in minutes with little to no usage. I have a 6S+ here and it seems like the 6S family suffered the most from battery issues due to software.

My iPhone 6s, as with all iPhones that I've used since around 2013, gives me about 36 hours per charge with moderate use. However, I just updated to iOS 10.2 today so it's a bit early, but I don't think there will be much of a difference. I feel obligated to note that I don't use social media, games or videos
Considering most people here are running the beta and since beta 7 is the same build as the public release I'd say it's more than 5 hours
Granted that may be the case. However you still have people that aren't running the beta asking that question.
LOL if your battery dies "in minutes" or a very, very short time then it's most likely an issue with the battery itself and it should be swapped for a new one. Respectively I'd try a reset and clean install of IOS without using the backup first and test it to see if any app might have caused this.
A relatively new battery with a couple of charging cycles in a 6s should at least last 24 - 36 hours with the following criteria:
-good cell phone coverage
-WiFI turned ON
-BT turned ON
-locations services ON
-background updates (apps) OFF
-moderate use: phoning, Facebook, mails, internet, music, the occasional YT video, NO gaming
Since the 6, which I still own the battery is pretty decent, my girlfriend has the 6s and has about the same use case as me with about similar battery times. IF the cell phone network coverage is bad though, meaning the phone is often changing from LTE to 3G or E and back which is the case in my office building my battery lasts about 20 - 24 hours.
Excellent battery life here since beta 7, but it might be to the fact I had my 6S swapped out recently due to the shutdown issue.
Well, yesterday updated 6S and Apple Watch 3.1.1.

Nope cause I downgraded back to 9.3.5 and it's been fine ever since. So it was clearly a software problem. Plus I only have about 195 charge cycles. Tests show 95% health.
Also, I always setup as new, never restore a backup and 10 always gave me a problem with battery on my 6S+
If you downgraded, does that mean you only ever tried the initial release of iOS 10 while they were signing 9.3.5?

My battery is still crap. I have above 250 charge cycles on 6s which is a year old device. going to apple store on sunday to have the battery replaced and pay for it since it drives me nuts.. i barely did anything today and in 6hrs i lost 50% battery

I was clarifying, you have NEVER used a build past that? Battery life is such a subjective topic, one person will tell you that it's great, another that it's terrible. I think my battery life is fantastic, but I don't have the Facebook app or several other things that would have a drastic, negative effect on it.
I get easily 2-3 days on my 6s+ with maybe 10-12 hours active. I'm not complaining! Never had a smartphone anywhere near this good on battery life.
6S on 10.0.2 and I am verrrrrry hesitant to update due to the ongoing iOS battery drain issues. Want to go to 10.1.1 in case of a root exploit being talked about or possible jailbreak, but man I'm getting almost as good of battery life as I do on my SE on iOS9.
ETA phone was plugged in for about 5 minutes to do a quick backup on my computer. Wish we could show the bar graph/chart like android to show how little or long we charged to rule out any BS. But I was so impressed with the battery life I had to take a screenshot or two.

10.2 has been fine on my 6s+. I also don't have Facebook on my device. I use Instagram and Twitter but I don't use them often.

That's honestly not too good.. I usually see a consistent 10-12 hours usage on my 6S+ on iOS 9, but you are on facebook the whole time it seems so I guess that's okay

No cause they stopped signing 9.3.5 and I wasn't getting stuck with a phone that would be dead in 5 hours or randomly turn off on me with iOS 10
My signal is also terrible, even if it is showing "three dots" and I was outside for a good portion of that in this recent cold wave we have been having. Almost 9 hours under those circumstances is pretty damn good. And as for Facebook, it's a battery hog, and there was a lot of dank meme's that day
My Battery is fine. I am running a battery test as we speak. I need one more charge cycle to conclude my findings but so far, battery life is better then iOS 10.1 and iOS 10. Still not better than iOS 9.3. That just might be because my iPhone was newer. I'll post my data tomorrow and let y'all know.
