I do not have one but I am here to tell you that you will NOT get 50+ fps with this model. the limiting factor to good performance is 2 fold. One, the GPU has only 512MB of memory... that aint gonna cut it for 2560 x 1440 resolution. In fact a resolution that high will bring many "high end" computers to thier knees without a solid GPU and 1GB of onboard memory.

The second is the the speed of the CPU. WoW is bottle necked by raw processor speed.. the faster the processor the better the FPS. Now dont get me wrong , this will be playable just not the 50+ FPs you are looking for.

I have the 2006 iMac with a 2.8ghz and the 8800GS. With snow Leopard and a lower 1920 x1200 resolution this setup is showing its age and is aguably = to the new imac with a 4850 and that high resolution.

Don't listen to this guy, he's just speculating .... just wait till they come out and give people a chance to test them a bit

You should be able to run a Ultra settings at the native resolution in wow with the 4850. Here is a link to a wow forum post, going over the available imacs. If the poster is to be trusted the 4670 is able to run wow at max resolution on the 27inch. I would like to see this in a raid/pvp setting like 25man ony or wintergrasp and see how it preforms.

Ive used all manner of hardware... PC and Mac to play WoW. I am not speculating... do some research online.. its nothing more than numbers..

Saying there's no way to get 50+ fps in WoW on that setup is ludicrous. You have no clue nor credibility after stating such facts

Sad, pathetic little man... go do some research then check back to the adult table..

Awesome link! Read the link and all your fears will be quelled. Wait for the Qued Core w/ 4850 and WoW on the 27" will be a piece of cake. Thanks for the great info.!
