Hi!

I currently use iPhone 13 Pro (hongkong model, so it's a nano+nano SIM model, not nano+esim model), and noticed that during calls (over VoLTE), the remaining SIM, would lost it's signal and connectivity.

Does anyone of you who use the same model experience this? or maybe those who use the nano+esim model, do you experience this too?

is this a hardware/modem issue? or it's an "expected" feature?

Thanks!

It’s actually an intentional result of using the one sim to make a phone call. Basically it will switch off service of the other sim whenever the other sim is in use on a phone call. Kinda annoying but that’s just how it has to be with the way phones work.

It doesn`t matter if you have a HK Model or not. iPhone and most Android Phones use DSDS. Dual SIM, Dual Stanbby.
It means you have only one Antenna for Calls. It can receive and send on both lines but if a Call is active the other line shuts down. You would need 2 Antennas to have both active and it would consume a lot more battery.

Expected behavior as you only have 1 Antenna system for active calls.
