I’ve been dating someone and we’ve ad this issue once before after Hurricane Harvey hit Houston. I’m on ATT and she is on Verizon.

I was out of town in NYC and we had texted a few times that day. While at dinner I saw my screen flash showing her name then missed call. I tried to call back but it went strait to voicemail. Tried a couple more times and each went strait to voicemail with no rings. Tried to text her and the text are green instead of blue. The first couple went as blue but never said delivered then after a couple minutes they were green.

As anyone else experienced an issue like this between ATT&Verizon phone? It took about 4 days after Harvey but I don’t know if any reason why we would have this issue now. Phone never rings when I call just strait to voicemail. Her calls cant get through to me either.

Try calling her from a different phone number, if the call goes through it means your actually number has been blocked. Been there, done that.

OP, it's an old issue that goes back years and it's not necessarily an inter-carrier issue. A couple of things to do on your end unless she's traveling too. Regardless of your "plan" and carrier, you're "roaming" out of your home market; my business rep for my VZW plans clued me on to this years ago. My brother travels from his home in Sitka (GCI) and roams on T-Mo or ATTWS here in the States and always has better service on his end when he tells GCI where/when he's going (he stopped being so pissy after I tipped on the following, he's always on the phone with his office…).

As you might do (I do when I travel) with your credit/debit card carrier, notify your cell carrier that you're traveling, where you're going, general timeline, and when you return to your home area. I do this for both my cell phones/iPads, and also with the cellular booster I bring with me when I'm in a different area.

Also, try resetting your network settings at each end destination.

How do I reset my settings? I can’t be calling each time I’m a pilot all I do is bounce around. My phone does work to other lines.

Settings app>General>Reset (at the bottom of the list)>Reset Network Settings

About your location, I'd convey to them what the nature of your work is. Most carriers can accommodate unusual/out-of-the-ordinary needs. All it takes is a call to 611 and a few minutes on the phone…
