Hey

Maybe it's a stupid question but I've never used an Apple Watch.

With Fitbit app, the calories intake (from food) are calculated automatically, in a very useful way (Calories Total = Calories Burned + Resting Calories - Calories Intake) so I know exactly how much calories I'm allowed to consume.

Does the Apple Watch do this? I know I should use an app with Apple Health integration like MyFitnessPal but can I see the Total Calories Balance in the Apple Watch itself in real time (after manually entering what I've eat)?

Thanks

The native app on the watch does not do what you are wanting. It would have to be Myfitness Pal app or something else.

I use Under Armour Record for my workouts on the watch. I track calories on Myfitness Pal app on my phone which populates the UA app on my phone and watch.

Thanks for the replies,

So, I will have to use a 3rd party app, if only the Fitbit app syncs with Apple Watch!
