Did the camera access got removed from the lock screen on iOS 11?

Because when I had iOS 10, I could just swipe right to left and I was able to access the camera. Even when the phone is unlocked I am still unable to swipe from right to left to activate the camera.

No restrictions set.

I am now on iOS 11.2.2 on an iPhone SE.

Its not working. When I swipe from right to left, it just takes me to the other Home screen and that's it and after from that second Home screen, I tried swiping again and no camera is activated.

I can access the camera only when tapping on the Camera app itself.

Still running on an iPhone SE with 11.2.2

I’m confused by what you mean the second home screen? I thought you were talking about when your phone is locked

It only works on the lock screen...

Huh? It only works on the lock screen. If you want to access the camera from anywhere swipe up from the bottom to open Control Center.

As above the swipe right to left for camera only works on the lock screen.

It wouldn't ever work on the homescreen as you'd never be able to have more than one page of apps.
