Do you think paid camera apps are worth it for iPhone x? If so which one do you use?

Depends a bit on your use case. Which features do you need in the app that you miss in the basic one? Many apps are just different filters and looks.

I find I stick to the main camera app often.

If you are a casual point and shooter with little knowledge of photography then probably not.

If you need a specific function (like RAW or want control of ISO or something) than yes.

Some apps just have fun features you may like.

If you have to ask though I would just research them to see if something peaks your interest.
