Camera Bug - Help!

Today I took a picture of my daughter using the iPhone's native camera app. When I went to take another one the screen flickered for a bit and the app crashed.

Now when I open the camera the black "shutter" screen freezes. Sometimes it locks up the phone completely,or crashes and restarts. Also, when I try to use Cycorder all I have is a green screen.

I've tried normal reboots and a hard reboot. Nothing works.

Anyone have any ideas? I haven't installed anything new lately and it's always worked fine before. I'm running 2.2 jailbroken (hence the post here). The only JB apps I have are Cycorder, QiK and SBSettings.

may be its because of 2.2 try to downgrade to 2.1 and then jailbreak.. or u have jailbreakon so just downgrade to 2.1 and see if its working

DFU restore the phone, and see if the problem goes away. If it doesn't, your camera is broken. Take it to Apple, or your service provider, for a warranty claim.

If the problem goes away, rejailbreak and be happy.

Same prob

Your the only person I can find with same problem. Please, if you fixed it, let me know. If not I'll restore, and just wait for 3.0. Thank you.......Larry
