Camera button non-responsive when connected to CarPlay?

I just noticed that the camera button on my 16 Pro seems non-responsive when the phone is connected to my vehicle via CarPlay and the phone is locked. I generally don't try to activate the camera while in the car so I can't tell if this is new with IOS 18.2 or not.

Seems to work normally when not connected via CarPlay. Which is to say it takes between 1 and 3 presses to get to the camera.... but it DOES get there.

Anyone else?

Looks like this is not specifically confined to CarPlay. I often find that if using the camera button with the phone locked and NOT connected to CarPlay, the button is sometimes unresponsive to at least the first press. Or at least nothing seems to happen on the first press.

The other day when I reported it was totally unresponsive to MANY presses, it was connected to CarPlay...... but that might not be the root cause.
