Camera Mod for 3G App in Cydia

This app is in Cydia... I just downloaded it and now my Camera won't even run... It starts up and then closes.
I downloaded it (before reading your post) and all is working fine, camera works as normal when i touch the screen blue box appears to select the area to focus (although i can't really see any difference!).
It must be conflicting with something else you have downloaded maybe.

I'm not 100% sure what you mean by "both". One being the camera mod, the other being ? I've got little knowledge on the workings of all this. hah
They said the issue was a conflict with Battery % or something like that. Any app that edits the plist file. So remove both apps that conflict with each other and then re install which one you want to use.
If you're on a 3G and have the battery % indicator turned on through SBSettings, then that's probably the "other" app you want to remove then install again once the camera one is gone.

Do you have any other "Tweaks" installed like Battery % mod or other mods that effect the camera? Those are what you're looking for that are probably causing a conflict.
Ok, so the only other "tweaks" i had were 5 icon dock and a web viewer. I uninstalled both then shut down my phone, waited a bit to turn it back on and still no luck with the camera or photos working. UGH
Ive uninstalled pretty much everything in cydia and i still cant get it to work. Any other ideas?
Would restoring the last sync preformed on iTunes work? Or would that just unjailbreak your phone?
im on 3.01 using the tethering hack if i restore it back to 3.01 using shift restore since im on the updated carrier file will the restore not work since i have update my carrier file.

I found a fix for this problem on-line at another forum site. It involved downloading some files and ssh'ing them into your iPhone. If you google"Camera Mod for 3g" you should find it>If you need I could post the files

ssh the 4 folders into your iPhone www.megaupload.com/?d=H22HMVGA it should work straight away. Overwrite or replace
