Hey Guys, I tried out a Photo Vault Program... Moved some photos to the vault app, then decided it was not needed. When I put the photos from the vault back to the camera roll they didnt' get put back in their date taken on the camera roll... Is there anyway to force them back to the cam roll in date taken order? If I do a restore from an early time I have photos on the phone that have been taken after last weeks icloud back up. If I do a NEW icloud back up today, with ALL the out of date order photos would the back up and restore from todays back up put them back in order or put them back on where they are now? Thanks in advance for any help...

I have out of order pictures too. It's a well known issue in iOS 11. I tried to fix it but it's too complicated for me. You can just Google the issue and you'll see a lot.

Hi it's not an iOS issue, I did it when I put some photos in a photo vault app then put them back in the camera roll, the went back at the end of the cam roll instead of being put back in date order ..

Yea, the camera roll sorts by date ADDED to the roll. So even though the photo has the correct date taken, its by when it was added. I had a much larger problem about 6 months ago regarding this and I ended up duplicating the photos to move them around. Here is a link to a thread I started when my Roll went out of whack because of the bug @trikotret talks about.

Look for my post from October 20th, 2017 and it talks about me duplicating them to reorganize.
