camera roll issues

Hi everyone

my wife is having iPhone trouble...

It says that she has 40gb available storage, but when she takes a picture, she can see it in the bottom left corner but cannot access the actual picture. Have wiped the phone and restored from back up, this has not changed anything.

iPhone 6, latest iOS.

I found out that someone must have fiddled with the time/date settings, so I have a bunch of foots, messages and recent calls that happened in the future.

So the pictures are in camera roll, just not most recent, because my most recent are 26/6/15.
