Hi,

I have my iTunes setup to sync a folder I have called "iPhone" within my "My Pictures" Windows folder. I'm 99% sure the reason I've head this setup for over a year is to a) sync photos I take on my iphone over to my laptop and b) give me an easy way to sync photos from the laptop to my iphone (ie. I've a sub-folder called "aviators" in which I have various thumbnail pics to use for on-line aviators etc).

Now (post-iOS 5 update) the sync still seems to PUSH from my laptop down to my iphone (so my "aviators" folder is there on my phone, plus anything else I put in there) however the pics in my iPhones Camera Roll are not sync'ing to my laptop (ie. no PULL from my iphone).

Is something wrong here? Or has this never happened?!

Thanks in advance..

This has never happened. When you sync a folder down to your iPhone, all it does is resize the photos and stick them in an album in the photos app.

You have never been syncing your photos from your iPhone to the computer. If you want to do that, just back up the device or download one of the many apps on the App store that will do that for you.

In iOS 5 photostream will wirelessly sync photos taken on your devices to iPhoto. You need to upgrade to the new version of iPhoto released with iOS5. You can get it from the app store.
