I have an iPhone 7 Plus running the latest version of iOS 11. I recently started using iCloud Photo Library shortly before updating to iOS 11. Everything seemed to be fine however I've noticed the camera roll album in the Photos app is no longer there and when I open the camera app and open the camera roll from there I have hundreds of pictures that were never in my camera roll but are from my photos app when I would sync them the old fashioned way from Photos on my Mac.

Is there a way to restore my camera roll to the photos I have actually taken on my iPhone rather than the hundreds that are there or wipe all the photos out entirely and start fresh without deleting the photos themselves? Or is this just what happens when you use iCloud Photo Libary?
