I received last tuesday my iPhone 7+, and I restored my iCloud backup from my iPhone 6S to the 7+.

My photos in camera roll on iPhone 7+ are out of order, as if the first 100 pictures of all my pictures (chronologically) were put at the end, where my camera roll ended on my iPhone 6s before backup. Viewing the photos elsewhere, like the "Photos" section, there they appear in the correct order.

Anyone with the same problem?

I have the same issue but didn't figure out a fix. I guess we'll have to wait for an iOS update.

I just updated to iOS 11.2.6 on my 7 Plus and now my Photos Albums are not in chronological order. So apparently Apple doesn't care about a fix for this issue.

Experienced this as well, but only 1/4th of my camera roll album was out of order. My guess is it's a sync issue that came up, and maybe resyncing will fix. I personally don't care enough to do it, but when upgrading/resyncing next I will ensure I do it twice if the issue persists, to hopefully fix it.

Happened to me when I got the 7 last year. My first 100 oldest photos where at the bottom not at the top of the camera roll. Didn't happen when I restored from backup on the X.
