Hi,

Quite simply can I delete all pics in the camera roll via the iPhone without having to select each one individually? Have googled it and get all answers related to using Mac/pc which I don't have access to. Maybe there is an app someone knows of?

Cheers

Canada, eh!
You can use the Image Capture application in OS X. There is an option to delete the photos after downloading.

Edit: Sorry, I didn't read the second sentence of your post. Here's the method..

Open photo browser
get into the grid view for the album with the pics you want to get rid of
tap the "share" button - upper right hand corner (box with arrow jumping out)
tap each pic you want to "share"
note the DELETE button at the bottom (next to share, copy, add to buttons)

You're welcome.

Have a friend with their Mac download and then delete the photos, that's the easiest way if you don't have a computer.

I probably had a similar number not too long ago - I almost ran out of memory a 32gb iPhone 4 (no music). I now delete them regularly and now have more space than I've ever had before (currently 24.4gb of 28.2gb available).
