When I use the camera shortcut on the home screen I can then close the camera with the home button and I am taken to my main screen enabling me to freely access email and all my other applications without having put in my pin code!

Now I am using the Gold Master - but I understand it is identical to the final released yesterday.

Also.. News Stand store doesn't work - its greyed out yet on my iPad it works.

I am using GSM iPhone 4

do you mean you access the camera from the lock screen?

Yes I access it from the lock screen. But once the camera has opened I can home button back to the main menu - thus completely bypass the security pin!!

That's because you haven't let it auto lock yet. This does not work the way you describe.

Also, to get the newsstand link working, restart the device.

No problems with this issue. I upgraded to iOS5 last night and have just tried to re create your problem. If i use the shortcut then hit the home button I am taken back to the Enter Passcode screen. If i try and open my Camera album after the camera shortcut has been used I am greeted with a screen telling my by phone is locked. No problems. Works well.

Same here.
1. lock the screen
2. activate your camera without being prompted for your password
3. press the home button and it will bypass the security password

I'm running the publicly version released yesterday, 5.0 on iPhone 4

Kind of weird this got pass testing.

never mind; it works fine.

This doesn't happen with me. I can access the camera without inputting my code (obviously) but when I press the home button it prompts me for my code.

EDIT: sorry just saw your edit.
