What camera settings should I have on the iPhone Mini for best quality video?

I've got:

- 4K at 60FPS
- HDR ticked
- Auto FPS at Auto 30 fps
- Lock camera: off

It was my understanding the Mini cannot do HDR at 60FPS, so what happens with my above settings, does 4K at 60FPS never occur because HDR is ticked?

If so, what would result in better "family" home movies, 60FPS or HDR?

If you set like above, then i wonder what happens when you walk from outside of house (bright) to inside house (darker) while filming?

So, when you’re outside, you’re at 4k60......but when you walk inside, due to AUTO FPS, it drops to 4k30 and HDR/DV comes on.

When you view your video later, then is the video gonna be normal brightness at beginning (when you’re outside) and then suddenly turn ultra bright / HDR in the middle of the film (when you’re inside)? That would look horrible.

IMO, i would click Auto FPS OFF. I want to control my own FPS, which is easy to do from the camera app. I don’t like for my videos to switch FPS back and forth, esp Within the SAME video! If you want HDR, then just switch to 30FPS in the camera app itself. And if you want smooth video, then click 60 FPS.
