iPad Pro Camera sounds on iPad Pro 12.9

I just got a couple of iPad Pro 12.9s for the family. I've set them both up and tested them out. On one of them, the camera shutter sound is quite loud. The other one is having issues with the camera shutter sound even playing. When i first set it up, I had no shutter sounds at all. Somehow, I managed to get it to play (not sure what it is that I did to fix it), but it is very difficult to hear. I tried turning both volume and sound effect volume all the way up and the sound on the first one is a lot louder than the sound on the second one. I've tried everything that I can think of and I cannot figure out what's wrong with it. All other sound effects are the same loudness on both devices.

Anyone know what I'm missing?

Could be a software glitch. Try a force restart with the iPad.

• Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home button for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

I've hard restarted the device. I've also tried setting it from a backup and as a new device. I still have no camera sound. I should say that I have no camera sound when taking a single shot. If I tap and hold the button to take the picture, I can hear it.

It has to be a software glitch. I don't see how it could be hardware. There's nothing physical happening to cause it to make the noise. Unless the sounds are supposed to come out of a certain speaker and that speaker is non-functional

Guys, I feel like an idiot. Apparently I didn't try everything. I had Live turned on, and apparently it does not play the shutter sound when Live is on. I verified this by turning Live on with the other iPad pro that I wasn't having a "problem" with, and it also does not play the sound when Live is on.

I feel so much better now. My fear was that it was a hardware issue of some sort and I'd have to send it back. This iPad seriously has the best screen that I've ever seen on an iPad.
