Looking for any insight y’all can offer...

I recently replaced my <1yr old iPhone XR with a new iPhone 11 Pro. About 6month prior to replacing it, the camera stabilization unit on the XR failed. The image became “wobbly” when trying to frame a shot. The Live Photo captured the effect as well. Apple replaced the unit for me as it was still under warranty. About 3 months later, my replacement unit started doing the exact same thing! I can’t imagine it could be a coincidence at that point. Apple replaced the unit again and, feeling as thought the XR could have been an inferior quality model (and my desire to move to a model w/ a better/multiple cameras), I bought a new 11 Pro and gave the XR to a family member.

Now, my 2 1/2 week old 11 Pro’s camera is doing the exact same thing!! I am losing my mind trying to figure out how this could possibly happen. I treat my phones w/ great care. They always have both a protective case and screen saver. I have not dropped this new unit. It hasn’t even been plugged in. I only use wireless charging pads. There is no metal plate or magnetic mount that is used. I am at a complete loss as to why....

That’s interesting. Can you do a screen record so we can see what the effect was? Truly curious.

I hope this works:

Here is a “Live Photo” of it, hopefully it comes through properly:
